It's the perfect place to stay . Cath who owns it couldn't do enough for uz . That was my 4th time staying and I've already booked to back . The hot tub is amazing and the beds r so comfy and huge and very clean . Couldn't fault it one bit x

"Really cool house and a welcoming hostess"

This was an amazing property with a hot tub on the second floor balcony , comfortable bed, excellent shower, a sitting area and a large dining table. Our hostess was so accommodating and friendly.

"Great b & b, fabulous host, worth a visit.."

The host was very friendly & welcoming, our room was huge, beds were massive, but comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious & we were catered to all our needs. The location was just over 20 miles from a park & ride, which took us into Edinburgh. A beautiful city, a must visit.

Backbrae was quite remote for us, but the beautiful countryside was a joy too. Our room although very large, needs a little attention as does the bathroom, but only minor detail.

Backbrae House is lovely. Hot tub is fab. Cath was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ideal especially as I require gluten free.

I have stayed here before my sisters booked it for my birthday, so I had to come back with my husband and my son . Enjoyed every minute of it
