Tea and coffee machine didn’t work properly at breakfast. Took a long time to get. Owner was there literally watching everyone and handing out tea and coffee. Felt it was OTT. Breakfast, continental style, as poor. At the price felt we were paying because it was Gorey. Room was basic and old fashioned, v small. Wouldn’t stay again in this B&B

Very good location as we were attending the nearby Marlfield House for a wedding.

This B&B stay started off on the wrong foot and unfortunately, it never really recovered. We arrived about 15 minutes before the official check-in time, fully understanding that our room might not be ready. Our only request was to drop off our bags and use the restroom before heading out. However, when I asked to quickly use the bathroom, I was quite taken aback by the blunt refusal: "No, you can use the one at the venue." This response immediately made us feel unwelcome and frankly, quite uncomfortable. It put a significant damper on what should have been a relaxing stay. The lack of basic hospitality right from the start was a major disappointment and significantly impacted our overall experience.

Sandra was so welcoming and helpful. We needed an extra room for our son, and she looked after us. Our bed was so comfortable and our room was so quiet BreaKfast was fantastic, Lovely coffee, fruit ,juices, croissants and fresh bread and Sandra was a fantastic host.

Wir haben eine Nacht in schön dekorierten gemütlichen Haus verbracht. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Sehr freundlich von den netten Gastgebern empfangen und genau so verabschiedet. Danke dafür! Das Haus befindet sich in guter Lage, Stadt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen 👍
