Stone Lodge B&B

We arrived late in the day and were warmly welcomed. Unfortunately due to our late arrival I was only able to enjoy the lovely garden area and the company of our hosts for too short a time, and due to our very early departure for the airport the next morning, we were not able to avail ourselves of the opportunity to have a cooked breakfast, However, the table had been beautifully set for us for the next morning and a generous continental breakfast was provided despite the early hour. The room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Wished we had timed our arrival and departure better to enjoy more time at this lovely B & B.

No hot water in the shower but this might have been due to my inability to properly work the controls. Other family member had plenty of hot water in his bathroom shower.

Great accommodation, lovely breakfast and amazing host

The owner, Ann, was an excellent host! Her B&B is in a charming old home. Breakfast was custom made for us.

Price was rather high for a small room with shared bath. Fortunately we were the only guests so we did have the bath to ourselves. Location is right on a busy road so as much as we enjoyed the gardens it was quite noisy and not an ideal place to sit outside.
