Oakwood B&B

Wir können dieses B&B nur empfehlen. Wir haben uns hier von A-Z sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir durften bei Ihr die Küche nutzen und Frühstücken. Ein B&B wie man es sich nur wünschen kann. Vielen Dank 🙏🏻.

Margaret was an excellent host who went out of her way to help us Bed was so comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend Oakwood zB&B

No breakfast is provided (so the name Oakwood B&B is a bit misleading), but the host's kitchen is available for shared use, which is very handy if you're happy to be social. We didn't want to eat out for every meal. Margaret is lovely to chat with and willing to provide anything you need. We made scrambled eggs with fresh eggs courtesy of her chickens!

A hairdryer would have been useful. Also somewhere to hang towels to dry.

Located a short walking distance from the Grand Canal Walk, which was a lovely walking path. Belmont is a tiny village but there are larger villages with restaurants 10 minutes in several directions. Margaret is a gracious host and a lovely person.

Friendly welcome by Margaret, our host. Very clean, well-appointed rooms and kitchen.The most comfortable bed ever! Beautiful house. Nothing was too much trouble. Complementary breakfast was very much appreciated and set us up for the days adventures. It was lovely to have a good morning greet from Poppy, the puppy sausage dog.

Beautiful rooms, large spacious and very comfortable. It was very well heated and the views were lovely. Very clean and homely. Shower was grand.

Very little information forthcoming on arrival. Wasn't aware that breakfast was a DIY and it was confusing as to what we could use in the kitchen.. there wasnt anyone around. Would've liked to have had access to a hairdryer

Breakfast was basic but all that one would ever need. She made us feel very comfortable as we were able to use the kitchen as our own. She was super friendly and joined us for some great conversations while there. We met her one awesome son as well who joined us and it felt like a family get together.

Nothing could have been better. A beautiful and very well kept home. Our hosts personality could not have been more pleasant and welcoming.

We had a lovely time staying there . Margaret was so sweet. We are definitely going to stay there again soon. It felt like a home from home
