This place is like gong back in time but with the comfort of 2025. I will come back! Hosts are amazing. Worth a trip to Raton just to stay here. Also walking distance to restaurants and bars. On a great street and good places to walk.

I loved the antique authenticity of the house. It was so beautiful throughout, our room was very elegant and decorated from the Victorian era. Breakfast was outstanding !!!! 5 STARS

"Why stay at a generic hotel when you can stay at this inn with character for about the same price?"

Breakfast was included and delicious, my room was large and comfortable. This is a historic house that was built for a sheriff over 120 years ago. Ratan is a great city to walk around after a day of driving and this inn is conveniently located with a couple of great restaurants blocks away. I found the people in town to be very warm and welcoming.

I liked the Simple and very good instructions on check in. The staff also responded to my text question before arriving. The stay was very quiet since my one night was on a Sunday to Monday stop while driving to Colorado for a snow ski trip. The breakfast was excellent. The old house has character and is unique. I was assigned the only room on the first floor which helped in getting luggage to my room after driving 700 miles.

I can’t say anything negative because I like the experience of different B& Bs.
