I would not choose it for a long vacation, but if you are arriving by plane at a very early or late hour and need a place to crash, then this is perfect for you. It is really near the airport, 4 minutes by car, cca 17 minutes on foot. The owner is very, very nice, helpful, attentive and flexible - really ready for you at any hour. We had to be at an airport at 5 o'clock in the morning and it was no problem for him to open the gates for us. The property is guarded by a very high fence and you have to call the owner to let you in and out. He has no problem with that and is available at all times. Also, the fridge in our room didn't work, so he kindly offered us the fridge in the breakfast hall - left the doors opened for us. Really kind. The room is clean and basic, wi-fi doesn't really work :), but we had data, so it was fine for us.

the proximity to the airport was excellent

access to the property is terrible, it is enclosed by a locked gate and access requires ringing a doorbell and being buzzed in, the names on the doorbell pad are almost illegible and it took several tries to get someone to open the gate. I believe that if the manger was not there, I would not have been able to access the room. I had to leave at 7 am the next morning to get to the airport and I informed the manager of that and asked how I open the locked gate in order to leave the property, he told me he would open the gate at 7 am, of course at the predetermined time, he was nowhere to be found, still fast asleep, i suspect. I had to bang on his door, whistle and make all kinds of noise in order to wake him up, to no avail. I finally found a gardener working on the property and asked him to let me out, He yelled up to the manager who appeared on his balcony and finally buzzed me out. About fifteen minutes has elapsed and I was concerned it would be tight timing to catch my flight, as luck would have it, my flight was delayed an hour...not happy

We arrived late in the evening. They were waiting for us and since there was nothing open they provided us with bottles of water. The place is very close to the airport, 5 minutes by car and about 20 minutes by foot.

The room was on the ground floor and had no ventilation.

Host was really welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for visiting Bari and let us check in early

One room which was supposed to be a double had a very very small bed which was really a large single bec

please do not spend more than 60€ for a night. This is what it worth. only the location is good. Couple of élément to help you make your mind : we had to make our own bed, the wifi was not working. weirdest part is the need to call the owner if every time you need to enter/exit the B&B for him to open the gate. we paid 95€ this was way overpriced
