When the safety is bad, all other things are unimportant

The rooms is a potential death traps in case of a fire. 4th. floor, no fire alarm, wooden staircase, wooden floor separations and no other escape. Find another place where you don't risc your life. The owner should install fx smoke detectors on the stairs and in the rooms, that will alarm you at the first small sign of smoke and give you time to get out. When he has done this, we will very much recommend the rooms. Excellent location, beautiful view, well restored and clean - this has no importance when safety is bad. A simple and cheap way to solve the problem is to install wireless connected smokedetectors on boths sides of your stair door (on all floors) and in the rooms. If one detects smoke all will warn.

A few of the ceiling beams were low, and I'm a short person. Otherwise, the apartment was very attractive.

Beautifully and tastefully restored suite with nice finishes and comfortable bed. Excellent location on corner of Diocletian’s Palace and near green market. Very helpful and gracious host.

Nothing (guests should know this is 4 flights up stairs, but host available to assist if needed)

Amazing location in Split. The taxi was able to drop us right across the street at the park. Be prepared for lots of stairs but that said the view is amazing. A large, beautiful room with nice bathroom lots of space. Bed was hard but that could be personal taste. Highly recommend.
