The Garden Rooms & Suites

Very well located 5 minute walk to the palace and 6 minutes to the marina. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Comfortable bed, nice BR and tiny kitchen but well equipped. Pleasant woman met us and checked us in. Good AC. Altogether pleasant stay.

Remote host, nowhere to be seen. You are basically on your own if something happens. Issues take time to be dealt with. The aircon was not functioning properly on the day of our arrival. We reported it and got no response. We received a message the next day (while we were out of the premises) that it was fixed and they apologized for the inconvenience. We returned later that day, the aircon worked for 15 minutes and stopped again. We reported it but never heard from the host. No feedback, no apology, nothing, only silence. A dustbin overflowing with rubbish is placed directly across (about 5 meters away) from the entrance/gate of the room, it makes a great impression when someone arrives there. The location is close to the center, but I'm sure a lot of other much better places are also centrally located. Definitely NOT worth the money.

The location is more than perfect! So near to the old town, restaurants, bar, shops, u can reach easily from the airport with the 37 local bus. Perfect. Maybe a little noisy in the night but that was not a real problem.

My friend and I stayed here and we really enjoyed it. The location is so central, and just 30 seconds from the old town and many restaurants, cafes & supermarkets nearby. The apartment was as described and pictured, and was extremely clean. Our host really looked after us and made us feel as home. Highly recommend this place for the price, amenities and location.

The only thing that could be improved is the hot water. The hot water runs out very quickly despite us having short showers it did not make a difference. However, it sounds like this is a normal thing in Croatia. Also, this place does not get a lot of natural light. But these aspects would NOT deter me from staying again as everything else is great.

Convenient location.. very friendly staff.

The apartment had a little kitchen which was great for cooking. It was close to the city centre and a supermarket. The staff were so lovely too and helped me find activities to do and places to go during my stay.
