La Vista Verde

We had an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience with this property. After booking and receiving confirmation, the owner was unresponsive to our messages before check-in. We arrived at the stated check-in time (3 PM), only to finally get a response after persistent calling. The owner vaguely apologized but unapologetically informed us that the room wouldn’t be ready until 7 PM—four hours later than promised. To make matters worse, my partner was unwell with a fever, and despite explaining the urgency of needing the room, the owner suggested we "sneak in through the garden and rest on the terrace." This was not only inappropriate but completely unacceptable. When I requested to cancel and get a refund due to their failure to honor the booking, the owner assured us they would refund the money directly. This turned out to be a lie, as they stopped responding entirely and never issued the refund. This property’s management is unreliable, disrespectful, and untrustworthy. It feels like a scam, and Booking.com should seriously reconsider hosting them on the platform. Avoid this place—it’s not worth the hassle!

breakfast was good and location - just 10-15 minis walk from town. There was a lounge too and nice views from the room

The beds were not very comfortable; bathroom rather dated and a bit sparse. There was a parking space but can be a bit tight.

The view from the Villa was spectacular, the room was basic but still comfy. The breakfast was nicely done and overall, the stay was amazing :) thank you

Only 1 bathroom/toilet for all the rooms. Only 1 little plug-in heater in cold weather. Beds a little short for tall people. No additional covers in cold weather. No info on local walks and amenities.

We've had a great stay at Villa Santini, it is the most picturesque place I have ever stayed at : ) Beautiful view of the mountains and Teror, garden with avocados and oranges. The owners are really friendly and hospitable, creating family-like atmosphere. They treated us to a lavish breakfast, including fresh homemade bread, guacamole from avocados from the garden and all sorts of local delicacies. Interesting stories included : ) I recommend it to everyone, the accommodation is unbeatable at this price, and even higher, I will gladly return at the earliest opportunity, and regret that we were there so short during our stay on the island.
