"Superb"

Viv our host is very nice lady n she prepared breakfast as per stated in the hotel booking. The hotel is located on the hill overseeing the beautiful lake. We love the place as it is also very quiet n peaceful

Our room unit is on the 1st floor so its a bit.difficult to carry the luggage up.

A very peaceful place with a stunning view over the bay. A very accommodating owner who is knowledgeable about the history of the property and Akaroa … and helpful tips on where to eat! Generous breakfast for a great start to the day! Definitely on my list of places to return to.

"Gorgeous view, decent enough room"

Gorgeous view on a working farm, accommodation is in the old barn, or stable. The pool view is crazy nice and breakfast was good, made to order eggs, cereal and yogurt served in a comfortable room in the main house. The barn room was comfortable enough, the bed was super cozy, but the bathrooms could use a face lift 70's or 80's maybe, and the whole room could have used a scrub brush, not very clean, but the linens were super fresh. Proximity to Akaora was good, 10 min drive, but that means all restaurants are about that far, except a hotel just down the road.

Could have been cleaner, not to the spick and span squeeky clean we got used to in NZ, and no soap anywhere in the room, shampoo does the trick in a pinch.

"A very enjoyable stay in beautiful surroundings."

The bedroom was very spacious with a view of the lake, and the outdoor area was beautiful having been recently landscaped. Having the use of a swimming pool was a real treat, especially in such amazing surroundings and with a fantastic view of the lake. We were welcomed by our host Asher who was very helpful and provided with a very nice breakfast.

Having the bathroom on a different floor to the bedroom was a bit annoying.
