The location is set in the historic part of Cosenza, an old Palazzo settled between beautiful picturesque streets. The apartment itself hosted by the elegant and knowledgeable Rosa was absolutely perfect. The high ceilings, the history in the details and have to mention that if you love Italian silk and Italian linen handmade lace, Rosa's things are preciously kept and the home is adorned with such things. It's a peaceful and loving home and would highly recommend it and would stay again and again.

The room was light and airy and the view of Butera and surroundings from the balcony was great. Cristina is so pleasant and put out an exceptional breakfast with meats and cheese and bread as well as the traditional Italian pastry and caffe. Neither Cristina nor her husband, the owners , spoke English, but with Google Translate, gestures and smiles, we managed fine. Very good value for your money.

There are stairs to all rooms, no lift/elevator. Be aware if you have a mobility issue. The showers are small and probably won't accommodate a large person. But the suite does have a nice tub/shower. We had no problems, however.
