"Cheats and scammers"

We were not allowed to check in even though our booking was confirmed on booking.com

We were not given any assurance and they didn't speak about refunding our advance payment. It was a scam. Even booking.com took no responsibility. How can we trust this platform.

"Good place with traditional Indian architecture."

The room is wide, clean, a good variety of massage/yoga and other wellness facilities are available. The location is very good if you like to walk, between the beach (5-10 minutes walk) and the city (around 20 minutes walk).

The washroom could be more comfortable, with a bigger and newer rug. The breakfast could be better with more options such as eggs, and toast, etc. There was a confusion with my booking and I had to change room after one night (my booking was for 5 nights). I am glad there was another room available.

Not sure if issue is with Booking or Hotel. Booking.com - Confirmed My Room by Email - Confirmed My Room in App. - Advised not to send bank details online/via link, etc Day of Booking online, -FabHotell Wellness requested either payment to confirm Booking OR full payment. Spoke to Booking.com Client Services Team by phone (Jose Luis) who, after confirming to me that Hotel should not charge before, sent an email to. - Room still appeared as confirmed in App - Hotel kept issuing me "Warnings" that I was at risk of loosing Room (links on their email to pay were not working) - I informed them of situation - Yesterday, 19th December, upon arrival at Hotel I was informed that Hotel was fully booked and that they had "upgraded me". Upgrade was 1h20 minute-walk from original hotel, 20 minutes by car. I didn't have a car, not did Reception staff offer to take me/or even to book a taxi. I ended up leaving after Booking with he FabHotel Express, 800m from the Wellness Centre. I understand that, being an "Express" it was probably not an upgrade, but much more walkable that the other option.

Confusion between Confirmation (Booking.com email + Booking.com App) versus Request for Payment of FabHotel group (when advised by Booking not to give credit card details/ via any external link. Think someone needs to look into this.
