Beautiful spot, great to relax house is awesome

If I would say anything, and this is a tough one as everyone has different tastes, and it's not a negative just my opinion, it would be that the bed was too hard

"A little haven of comfort and luxury in Lake Taupo"

The Retreat was spacious and beautifully furnished. A very comfortable bed, with good quality linen and towels. Lovely welcoming touches like a bottle of sparkling wine and biscuits. Our host was very welcoming and helpful, giving us information on activities, local restaurants and cafes. The location was quiet and convenient, just out of the main part of town.

Such a beautifully decorated villa with modern luxury finishes and amenities- better than staying in a 5 star hotel. Great location and the gardens surrounding the villa are stunning. Even though the villa is near the main house, we had all the privacy we needed. Thank you Ian for a beautiful stay.
