Nathalie e Juri sono gentili e accoglienti. Li ringraziamo Dormire nella camera dove ha soggiornato Toscanini è stato emozionante. Abbiamo incontrato una simpatica coppia di Belgi . Fermarsi una notte, ci ha consentito di scoprire che Piazze si estende oltre la strada, non è un posto "di passaggio": c'è una bella piazza con il Monumento ai caduti.. e giochi per i bambini, un Circolo Arci aperto fino a tardi, dove un gruppetto di giovani e anziani si scambiano idee... Ci siamo sentiti a casa.

located in the middle of the quiet, sleepy town of piazze, the b&b is the perfect respite from the intense, italian summer sun! i stayed here to attend a wedding at a nearby b&b and i definitely made the right choice. the proprietors and operators - natalie and yuri - along with their in-house chef claudio, are some of the sweetest, hospitable, and most accommodating hosts i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. they take care of their guests exceptionally and make you feel like you’re at home! i stayed in a room that had great cross-breeze, the kind that lulls you to sleep for that much needed post-lunch siesta. this b&b is no-frills - but it has everything one needs to rest and recuperate. i will definitely miss their homemade breakfasts - one of the sweet breakfast pastries was a recipe that has been passed down for generations! - and the yogurt! i highly suggest taking breakfast al fresco to soak in some of that sun while enjoying a meal that has been prepared with such detail and care. also, being the only restaurant in town, they have some of the best pastas i’ve had this side of italy. oh, and did i mention that even their pasta is homemade? i highly recommend this location for those wanting to escape the hustle of rome and venture out for some nice, quiet downtime. it makes for a wonderful weekend getaway! thank you again, natalie, yuri, and claudio!

Internet a bit hit and miss, but it is to be expected that far out in the hills of Tuscany.

This is a fabulous B&B with exceptional, welcoming service. The breakfast is home-cooked, varied and delicious from homemade yogurt to frittatas and baked goods. Plenty of gluten-free options as well if you ask. Their restaurant in the same building is also exceptional and a great option for lunch or dinner as the town does not have much else in it, but Bagno di San Casciano is nearby with more food options. We loved the peace of the location, the comfy bed, great black-out shutters which made it easy to sleep.

The only suggestion would be a shower curtain as the water got everywhere in the bathroom when taking a shower!

A beautiful property in stunning surroundings. The hosts were fantastic and gave great advice as to what to see and where to visit near by. The freshly prepared food was incredibly, the breakfast was a real treat.

Owners Nathalie and Yuri made us very welcome and were on hand with advice on various towns and locations. We too Nathalies advice and took a trip to Perugia which was fabulous to visit. Nathalie is from Belgium and speaks English well ,which was much appreciated. They were both so friendly and we felt at home staying here. The rooms were exceptionally clean and we loved the modern rustic style of the property. Light, bright and airy rooms. With great views (room 7) at the front and (room 6) side views. Breakfast was exceptional with home made bread, yogurts alongside eggs, meat, cheese and fruit - all presented beautifully on a stand - with table service. We had booked a meal for the Saturday night too and again the food was home made with great choice of local wines to go with it. You will need to book the meal though as it gets booked up quickly. There is a small bar area with the option to help yourself and fill out a tab or be served. Great toiletries included. Highly recommended boutique B & B

The only thing we could fault was the limited parking outside but there was parking around the corner too.
