Finca El Otero

El desayuno y las cenas increíbles, cada día te sorprenden con un nuevo plato. Todo limpísimo y cuidado cada detalle. Lugar perfecto para descansar, con la playa más cercana a unos 15 minutos en coche. Tanto Peter como Ernest son encantadores y súper amables y están pendientes de todo lo que necesitas. Sin duda volvería a repetir.

La habitación no tiene TV. No la echamos de menos tampoco :)

Söker man en lugn, avslappnad och vacker plats har man kommit rätt. Den bordsserverade frukosten var utmärk och i den närliggande byn finns det några trevliga matställen och barer. Vill man inte gå till byn kan värdparet servera middag om man säger till någon dag i förväg. Detta är ett riktigt toppenställe som ligger lite vid sidan av stränderna och turiststråken men ändå inte långt därifrån.

Det fanns inget att klaga på.

El lugar es ideal para un descanso fuera de ruidos de ciudad. La calidad de la recepción de Peter y Ernest ☺️. La Finca esta rodeada de flores y por ende con diferentes aromas. La naturaleza a flor de piel con vista al pequeño pueblo, que por cierto tiene tambien sus encantos 😍 (mini supermercado, lugar para niños, historia)💚. La pile muy disfruble. La habitación es muy linda, tal como se ve en las fotos! Peter le pone mucho amor a cada plato ❤️. Con un bus local es posible llegar a El Campello. Excelente, muchas gracias 🫶🏻 Peter vos un tesoro🌸

Solo un detalle menor, pondria acondicionador en la ducha (las mujeres lo necesitamos mucho 🙃). Nos hizo frío por la noche pero con un poquito de calefacción con el aire lo solucionamos. El resto todo mas que bien.

The owners were really lovely, great hosts. Breakfast was delicious and something to look forward to and we enjoyed the music playing and views from the breakfast room. The evening tapas tray was really great and good portions, we loved it. They noticed it was my birthday and this was really sweet. Peaceful by the pool in the daytime and in the garden areas, we loved the planting and quirky touches in the gardens it was really well done and beautiful. We would definately stay here again if we were in the Alicante region.

I didn’t like the pool cleaning robot being in the pool all the time, the pipe really got in the way of swimming. It would be preferable to leave it running overnight and remove it before breakfast. The dogs nearby barked a lot at certain times of the day, usually afternoon/evening but not while we were actually sleeping. The restaurants and bar in the village weren’t open or had closed really early as they were quiet, it made it hard to plan other meal options. We asked Taza bar in town on our way out for an evening stroll around 6.30 pm at what time they were serving food until and they said it just depended and they couldn’t guarantee opening times. Very friendly bar though with live music on the Sunday night. We ended up staying for a drink then food rather than walking, they did close early and while we were sat there we watched the tapas restaurant nearby close up at 7.15 when google said it should be open till 9 pm, so be aware of this and maybe book a table to make sure they are open for you. It would be really helpful to have a full length mirror in the room and also a small mirror over the desk for when you are getting ready. It would also be nice to have a mini fridge for personal use in the room. These are just little things though, listed in order to be accurate and the good things about this finca more than make up for them.

Our stay at Finca El Otero was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived Peter & Ernest were so helpful and friendly, Great hosts and very welcoming. Breakfast was one of the highlights for me & also the evening meals were fantastic, all made by Peter in house and we was never disappointed. We booked for 3 nights and was lucky enough to extend our stay for another 3 without issues. The grounds/gardens are beautiful with the views from the rooms over-looking the mountains and ocean, the location is a little remote and a rental car is beneficial if wanting to visit nearby towns & attractions. Ideal stay for cycling, walking or total relaxation. The town Aiguel (5 min walk) is quaint with a traditional feel and general amenities if needed. We had such an amazing time. Ernest & Peter made us feel very much at home during our stay and was happy to help us with recommendations and directions. We will look forward to visiting again.

Peter und Ernest sind zwei aufmerksame Gastgeber, die sich um das Wohl der Gäste sorgen. Zum Geburtstag meines Mannes bekamen wir eine Schokotorte, die wir beim Frühstück mit den anderen Gästen teilten. Das Frühstück wird jeden Tag serviert, es gibt kein Buffet. Auch das Abendessen schmeckt wunderbar.

De rust, de hosts die er alles aan doen zodat je een prettig verblijf hebt, het ontbijt, de rust …

Los anfitriones son encantadores, los desayunos y cenas están deliciosos, todo está muy limpio y las habitaciones son cómodas. En resumen, se nota que todo está cuidado al detalle. Es un lugar acogedor y tranquilo, ideal para pasar unos días de relax.
