The space was sufficient. The place was clean...and the location safe and secured. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The area Berea where it is situated, is very central to where ever you need to go in Durban. Close to the needed shops and amenities, even within walking distance to a lot of convenient stores.

Photo's can be deceiving. I was really very disappointed comparing to the rating on Booking.com of 8.1. I make use of Booking.com most of the time, but this time was a big let down. In the whole week's stay, it was never cleaned or dustbins empty, also no cleaning equipment like a broom, mop, dustpan to clean by yourself. I had to ask for dish clothes to clean the dishes. One set of towels (old) was provided. Bathroom: No plug for the basin. The ceiling is black with mildew and stuffy. The toilet seat was loose and slipped around. Living area: The curtains were creased hanging uneven on a broken curtain rail with curtain hooks here and there to keep it up. The window opposite the bathroom had no rail or curtain. Dirty streaks running down the wall. The cupboard had old bended wire hangers in. Bedding and pillows are old en well used. Even the mattress was an old spring matress, which was uneven with loose springs and wires. The upholstery of the chairs were dirty, with stains on the bedside table, middle table and kitchen work surface. The fridge was dirty and all iced up from the freezing compartment. All the cutlery, crockery, glasses, pot and pans are odds and ends, well used. Outside area: neglected backyard view, and with bra's & clothing hanging on the washing line on the doorstep. Not a nice sight. Most of the time the WiFi was not working, and there was no access to Netflix. Comparing to my booking at The Fall Cottage (self catering) 8.6 (which was absolutely exquisite!), this place should not even be listed on Booking.com!! I took photo's of all I described.

The locations was quiet and had a beautiful atmosphere.

The environment was perfect, the hospitality was exceptional, the place was exquisite.

Close to popular spots around. The area was quiet and security patrolled the neighbourhood from time to time. The TV revolves for viewing in bed or whilst sitting on the chair. Great water pressure in the shower.

We couldn't lock the sliding door, which was nerve wrecking at night or when we went out. The wifi was acting up a lot.
