Lots of common area space and the fire place.

People running up and down the stairs at night made it hard to sleep in the family room.

Breakfast was plentiful & tasty.

Our room was a bit small. There was nowhere to lay out a suitcase. Everything else was good.

The staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view, and the hang out area was cosy with a fireplace and games. It’s close to happo sakka slopes, and only a 30 minute walk into happo where there’s cafes and shops, and we saw monkeys most days :) The beds were really comfortable with very warm blankets, the shower had great pressure, and there’s always hot tea available downstairs which is nice in the cold weather. We would definitely stay here again :)

It’s a bit of a walk uphill from Happo, but Ubers are very easy, quick, and pretty cheap. The lodge also does a few runs in the van into different places around town.

Warm and friendly, great location. Great snow lodge feel.

Intermittent front desk attendance. Very lovely when attended however.

Was a little bit out of town - but this also added to the charm and they had daily shuttles in the evenings for dinner etc
