Room was beautiful. Location was excellent and facilities were extensive

Breakfast was fabulous, staff were extremely friendly & helpful offering suggestions of places to visit. I loved the fact the Spa was open from 7 until 10 as I like to go hiking or away for the day & to be able to use it when I arrived back was absolute bliss . The walks around the lakes were beautiful, great games room available with walking routes available & the in-house restaurant was a perfect addition as it is fairly remote . Perfect way to distress from a busy world & wouldn't hesitate to go back - a hidden treasure . Great location for Alnwick & gardens & coast as also went on boat trip to Farne Islands

My room was quite warm so opened the Velux windows wide all night & assume that the electrical item in the wardrobe was a cooling fan as this would be needed in the peak of summer - certainly not a complaint as couldn't fault my stay at all

Fantastic B&B there's nothing in this country to match the facilities
