Recepção da Sra Marta, somos da 3a idade, fomos recebidas com ela muito agitada para dar as informações, nao tivemos um bom acolhimento. Acomodações são boas, cama confortável, mas tem muitos objetos que acumula muito po e a cama deveria estar cheia de ácaro, momentos em que dava crises de alergia, eu e minha amiga tivemos crise de rinite. No quarto tem uma parede com decoração de argila e madeira o que provoca acúmulo de pó, tapetes de tecido p que provoca acúmulo de ácaros.

Firstly and foremost, as a solo female traveller, it was my priority to stay in a safe environment - and this one truly met my expectations. If you are into food (restaurants, brunches, coffee shops), many trendy options are within 10-20 minutes walk. As of the room: it was very clean. Beds were comfy, outside it was a bit noisy, but not too much. The bathroom had towels hangers - which means that the hotel acted on the few "minus points" expressed through google reviews. Also: no bed bugs, which made me very happy. Bonus: staff went above and beyond. Even if due to traffic I arrived after the check in window, communication was flawless. Not to mention when the electricity went off in my room: they immediately called a specialist who spent the full weekend to fix it.

Nothing I didn't like. Breakfast was very minimal - but then again this is not an hotel. I was happy with having the option of nature unsweetened yoghurts.

The room was nice, comfortable, clean and quite big. Basic toiletries supplied. Nice touch is the small fridge in the room and air conditioning. The room itself was by far the best bit about this B & B.

Location was a little bit far out from the main Lisbon centre. There is no sign outside and it just looks like an ordinary building. Hotel has a lot of noise from building works in the immediate area, traffic noise from the nearby busy road and low aircraft frequency. It was not a restful place to stay. Flooring was wooden, everything can be heard around the inside from other rooms and movement. We were disturbed on our first 3 nights by the next door room returning late and talking /shouting loudly. & walking up & down in their room. Breakfast was poor. Very beige, with mainly breads, pastries, a couple of cereal choices & cake. Limited with more healthy choices, just a few cherry tomatoes, grapes & sometimes a couple of fruits. Seemed to depend who was doing the morning service as to whether items were replenished or not. We had a couple of days (during 5 night stay) where we had virtually nothing to choose from. Cheese was pre cut and dried up. Just one basic ham type meat. No egg. Daughter being vegetarian struggled and had mainly a cheese roll. Not very nutritional. Coffee machine was awful & undrinkable coffee! We feel more critical of the breakfast having just stayed at another property in Porto where breakfast was exceptional, with multiple fresh fruits, cereals, nuts, juices etc. We had a power cut one evening which really spoilt our night. We had returned to our room early to relax / read / get a shower. It was not dealt with well. My daughter spoke to the manager who basically said it would be sorted in “5 minutes” and fobbed her off. An hour later and now sat in the dark I went down to get an update. The manager had gone but the electrician said they were waiting for a part (10pm on Saturday night). I asked if we could be updated as we were not given any other light / torch or options. We were unable to shower ( too dark), no TV or able to do much!
