B&B Al Salvatore Di Lipari

The hosts, Marcello and Paola made you feel like you were home from the minute you arrived until you left. The views were amazing. The breakfasts were made fresh daily, with many of ingredients grown on site, delicious and abundant. One night we had a homemade dinner with Marcello and all the guests and it was just a wonderful evening. Marcello drive us into town the first few days as we did not have a car, helped us with tour, restaurant reservations, etc. He was a delight to spend time with entertaining us with personal and local stories. If we have the good fortune to return to Lipari we would not consider staying anywhere else than B&B Al Salvatore!!

La location è spettacolare, una vista bellissima sul golfo. La struttura è una tipica abitazione eoliana con grandi verande a disposizione degli ospiti. La colazione è ricca e genuina, tutti i prodotti usati per la preparazione sono a km 0 e ogni giorno il menù cambia sia per il dolce che per il salato. Gli host sono gentili e disponibili, il personale molto cortese. Non si sente la mancanza della TV in camera. Per chi è alla ricerca di relax, è il posto ideale. È un b&b ecosostenibile, dal riciclo dell'acqua alla filosofia anti-spreco seguita dai proprietari.

Un'opportunità di miglioramento potrebbe essere l'installazione di climatizzatori nelle camere: il ventilatore a soffitto fa il suo lavoro, ma l'umidità si sente nelle giornate di scirocco. Di sera potrebbe essere un po' più illuminato il giardino/ingresso per consentire un accesso più agevole.

What was not to like? The place is beautiful and has the best view to wake up to. Marcello and Paola are the nicest hosts and their mediterranean breakfasts were top notch. Definitely recommend it and will surely return!

The hosts were very kind and the breakfast very good

It was not maintained and nothing like the pictures . It was also quite far from town. We left after one night but had to pay for three nights. The bathroom was awful and had a bucket in the shower to use for water to flush the toilet

Marcello and Paula are exceptional hosts. Marcello provided a short tour and history, and Paula provided delicious breakfasts every day. The views were beyond our expectations, and Marcello did not fail in his recommendations and arrangements. Fantastic memories were made.

Marcello was so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was creative and fresh. The view from the gardens is amazing. Never forget Strombolichio, very sweet cat who loves being adored! The hospitality of Marcello, Paola and the staff cannot be beat. We had a short stay mixed with all return guests and felt welcome. We would love to go back and spend more time. Recommend this place!
