Manor Farm Egerton

There was no breakfast provided but local reccomendations were given.

It was close to where I needed to be for the Festival. There was a small garden to the back.

That breakfast wasn't offered or even a fridge in the room to keep milk or water in as no shops nearby. I was called by the owner prior to arriving to advise that breakfast was not offered. The garden to the back of the property would have been nice to sit in due to the heat but the furniture was green and mouldy. There was also a basin that had cleaning products in it at one time that stank and bushes overgrown so was the only 2 things to complain about.

We couldn't get the water hot enough for a bath, but that's a small niggle!

Our time here was brilliant. The owner was friendly and really helpful. The cottage was lovely and clean, and the grounds and views were beautiful. Was a pleasure to stay here.

The room was very comfortable and well furnished.

The only real drawback was the lack of breakfast.

There was no breakfast available on site, or in walking distance until after 9am. The adverts for the property showed breakfast. The milk for tea/coffee was delivered in a thermos and went off by our second day. Not a great place to stay if you enjoy walking from your room as footpaths are all off a busy road with no pavement.
