NR22 Leiden

Really great location in the historic center of Leiden. The room was fantastic, very quiet and calm. I loved to wind down at the end of a long day and have some tea while I read.

Excellent location, very friendly host and beautiful top floor suite with a view. The bathroom has an excellent shower and water pressure. The kitchen has a good sized fridge and oven and cutlery. The bed is spacious and comfortable for 2 with reading lights and USB charging.

Like most places in the Netherlands, the stairs are steep and may be a consideration for people with mobility issues. There is a chair lift to the 2nd floor though.

This is a small hotel with thoughtfully appointed and appealing rooms. My room had a fabulous view and a gorgeous bathroom. The owners were lovely. They went out of their way to make guests feel at home. Excellent location. I would definitely recommend NR22 to friends.

In the Netherlands they had to build narrow and up. As a result, many hotels and B&Bs have stairs. My room (on the European 2nd floor and US 3rd floor) invoked climbing 36 steps. Good banisters.

Overall the room and spacious bathroom were both super. The beverage making facilities were shared which was fine. A proper kettle that didn't take ages to boil. We also used the fridge and microwave. A great selection of teas; didn't expect that. The hosts were most welcoming.

Really minor: instructions for TV.

Everything fine, maybe harder for people who are less mobile, as there are steep steps to climb
