"We sort of sensed as we drove up that it was different , but overall, the Hidden Gem ' fits perfect."

The breakfast options were very good. A nice selection of spreads , and choice of what type of breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the unit very warm . Everything was very clean and the "Rain" shower was pretty cool. Outside was pleasant to sit and have a coffee, in sight of nice gardens. The location was very cool, nice and quiet and pretty.

We could have had longer time away available ...lol, But Maybe next time. We used an outside chair ( plastic ) for my wife to sit in the shower, maybe a stool of sorts in the shower would be cool, if someone is disabled... having said that , it is not a complaint, merely a suggestion .

Breakfast was excellent, as described, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, bread and home made muffin. The host is super, friendly, helpful and considerate. Cant fault my experience. Very happy I chose to stay.

Nothing to complain about. I only stayed one night but It would have been a great place to stay for a week. I was driving and cycling so I got to see the area. I’d have liked to spend longer but time didn’t permit. I’d definitely stay there again if I return to Napier.

Very clear instructions on how to access the property and the key via the lock box; breakfast was available for us so everything was ready when we arrived. Bonus pikelets were delivered just after we arrived xx super lovely! Very private space.

Everything was great with thoughtful touches. Substantial continental breakfast options. Bathroom was really classy. AC and WIFI all good. Excellent communication with host.

Not really anything that comes to mind.

"Nice wee quiet location unfortunately for us ruined by the absence of a kitchen sink"

Breakfast was supplied and was adequate. We even got some christmas cake and a wee bar of chocolate which was nice.

There was no kitchen sink but a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ for use. This did not work for us at all and we found it ruined our stay. It is difficult to make food and not need to either rinse something or clean up bench space. There was a note over the bathroom sink to not rinse dishes there....
