The old city location was great though a challenge to find initially. The tucked away location inside an old room was fabulous. Great owners helped in every aspect

It was 35-37 degrees but in side our room was cool but A/C would have been better than just the fan. A little maintenance would make it tip top.

Location was excellent, right next to the main cathedral and near restaurants and bars and access to both Sassi. Space was large. Bathroom was very clean and had good facilities

Authentic location in the heart of historic part of beautiful Matera, just few steps from viewpoint, but still quiet neigbourhood. Very nice owner. Wish we could stay few days more. Reccomend for couples.

Good location

Bad, maybe dangerous sewer gasses venting back into room - left a day early and wrote off the money to stay healthy. Parking in Matera is very, very expensive for a short stay - host didn’t help find less expensive options for us.

location is beyond excellent

no ac and rather hot but fans make it better.

The location was great because it’s near the duomo but at the same time is a little bit hidden so there isn’t much noise or people passing by.

There are no windows and the door only closes if you lock it making it difficult to manage with only one set of keys

I love staying in this place... right in the heart of the old town.. cute , adorable historic building turned into modern accommodation... very clean , very safe, very comfortable. Perfect for solo traveller or couple. Very friendly host, speaking fluently english
