Tenuta Amostuni-Country House

We arrived later than expected and were given full instructions on self check-in as well as advice on local restaurants. It was really easy to find and the parking is secure. The host is so friendly and we felt at home here, he also helped us book a winery tour and lunch. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy. A full buffet of local products, which changed daily and a selection of local olive oils. Each room has its own private terrace and a shared pool which over looks olive groves, it’s such a quiet and peaceful place, we only wish we had longer so we could have stayed.

The only issue we had was the beds were not so comfortable, they were quite soft, but I guess it comes down to preference. We would stay again in a heart beat.

We chose this place as our base for exploring Puglia, and it turned out to be a perfect decision. The location is wonderful—set among olive trees, just a short drive from Ostuni—offering a peaceful and truly relaxing atmosphere. Francesco was incredibly kind and helpful even before our arrival, providing us with plenty of great recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. His guidance made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding: a rich and varied selection, with something different to try each day, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and authentic stay in the region.

Dreamy views to take in the Salento sunsets, extremely close to Ostuni city center, and Fransesco and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel pampered. During my three night stay they pampered me with a great breakfast spread and glasses of wine or coffee when I got back from my daily exploring. The weather was too cold to enjoy the pool, but it looks beautiful and I assume would be great in warm weather. Franceso also offers great recommendations for activities and restaurants

Un lieu paisible au milieu des oliviers à quelques minutes d'ostuni, un accueil souriant de Francesco et son équipe, petit déjeuner délicieux. Chaque chambre a son coin terrasse, ce qui est appréciable. Le coin piscine est très sympa et invite au repos. Merci !

Tenuta Amostuni is a true gem in the Pugliese countryside. Nestled just outside the beautiful whitewashed hilltop town of Ostuni, the location is simply dreamy — close enough to explore the town and the stunning Adriatic coast, yet peaceful and private in a way that makes you feel completely away from it all. Waking up surrounded by ancient olive groves with that warm southern Italian light — there's nothing quite like it. The accommodation exceeded every expectation. Beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and full of charm — it strikes that perfect balance between rustic character and modern comfort. Every detail felt considered and cared for. The breakfast was one of the best I can remember, and trust me I did travel a lot in my life time. Keep up the good job, I will return soon. And then there's Francesco. What an absolute legend of a host. Warm, genuine, and endlessly helpful — he had tips for the best local masserie, hidden beaches, and trattorias you'd never find in a guidebook. He made us feel like honoured guests from the very first moment. If you're lucky enough to stay here, you're in the best possible hands. We can't wait to come back to Tenuta Amostuni.
