No 12 Furze Croft

Located in a village near St. Ives, with a comfy bed, floor heating, spacious dining area, cute private kitchen outside the bedroom with a fridge, microwave, milk, jams, snacks, oatmeal, cereal etc. Everything we needed was there. Host's extraordinary hospitality exceeded my expectations. We also got advice about Helligan Gardens, which we visited on the way and were a magical experience! They also have the best shower :)

Nothing, the place is perfect.

How well thought out everything was for a little getaway. The room was all in immaculate condition, from cleanliness to tidiness. We had all facilities we require from towels, to hairdryers, a fan for the room etc. It was lovely and light, modern and scenic for where the location was to. The kitchenette we was provided was well set up. Very organised for everything you may need. As well as kept well on top of by the host. If bins needed changing/recycling emptied it was. If areas of food provided kindly by the host needed topping up, it was done each day to keep us a float. The variation was amazing overall. And any dirty dishes we had, we never touched, the host would clean for us to. The host was so friendly, thoughtful and kind. And gave us brilliant recommendations for things to do in the area we were staying. We couldn't of asked for anything more. A lovely little area well thought out, looked after thoroughly by the host and taken great care of for there next customers all of the time.

There was nothing whatsoever we disliked at all.

Good location in a quiet area, everything was ready for our visit, clean and tidy and the extra touches in the kitchen such as prepared fruit and yoghurt, cereals and bread with a great choice of teas and coffees. Orange juice and cooled water too.

The property was immaculate. Alison , the host greeted us on arrival and was lovely. There was ample food and drink items in our kitchenette for breakfast including croissants and other tasty treats. Plenty of information about the area in the room too.

Nothing to report that we did not like

You're only 15-20 minutes away from anything you want to see on the western half of Cornwall! The room is beautifully laid out and the kitchenette has a great selection for breakfast (or even if your guilty pleasure is a bowl of cereal in the evening... Like some heathen 😋). It's the perfect place to stay if you're looking to explore loads if places in Cornwall and Alison is a very kind and friendly host. My girlfriend and I will definitely be hoping to visit again sometime!

The bed is nice it just takes getting used to if you don't have a memory foam mattress (so take this with a pinch of salt). The only other thing i'd add is a jar of peanut butter would have been perfect somewhere in the kitchenette. But this is a trifling thing about a room that's already practically perfect!

Alison is a nice host, who told us everything about the commodity and the region. Breakfast was prepared to self-service and was very delicious (the croissants! 😍). We unfortunately only spent one night in the comfy room and can absolutely recommend it.
