Valleyview House

The Valleyview House is located in a driving distance from John O' Groats and from Duncansby Head (~35 minutes). The home-made breakfast was delicious. You can tell that there's a lot of work and thought that went into the interior design of the place. The host were very kind and accommodating (we arrived later than planned due to... well, bad planning), and they adapted to our situation without any problems. If you are lucky, you might even be able to see their highland coos!

The room is a bit limited with space, so opening the suitcases is a bit finicky. While the design was very well thought it, the room felt a bit dated (not the bathroom) - but this is just personal preference.

The room we had was beautifully decorated and had a lovely en suite. The house was beautiful and in a quiet location about 2 miles outside of Thurso. There was an option for breakfast which was delicious!

Nothing to dislike other than there wasn’t much room to move around in our bedroom.

So peaceful and relaxing. Antoinette looked after us very well and even allowed us to meet her highland cattle. Feeding them toast and taking photos was a highlight!

Der freundliche Empfang. Es ist eine liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft mit 3 Doppelzimmern. Alles ist stimmig mit Highland Rinder Motiven und Dekorationen eingerichtet. Für 12,50 pro Person bekommt man ein frisch zubereitetes englisches Frühstück. Das beste auf unserem NC500 Road-Trip.

Ligt aan de NC500 route en is gemakkelijk te bereiken. Volledig ingericht en ruim.

De omgeving is niet erg aantrekkelijk, maar aangezien wij er maar 1 nachtje waren was dat voor ons ook niet zo belangrijk.
