Location was brilliant, on route from the East coast to the West coast, with open countryside views towards the sea. The room and property were beautifully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Great breakfast choice (to be booked with hosts not online) served in a lovely large dining room overlooking the beautiful gardens. Hosts very friendly and took us to meet and feed their sheep and highland cows. Very welcoming and relaxing place to stay.

What an amazing B & B, stunning house in an equally stunning location. The hosts are such lovely people, very welcoming and we were made to feel very at home. Room was lovely and quiet, very clean and comfortable, coffee/tea, fresh milk and biscuits in room. Nothing would have been too much trouble for Stephen and Antoinette. Breakfast was delicious! Very good choice, we chose the full Scottish and it was fab!! The icing on the cake for me was meeting the Highland coos 🩷 Antoinette was so knowledgeable about the coos and I even had the pleasure of brushing and feeding them!! Cannot recommend ValleyView enough, 5 huge stars from us and when we are back up in Scotland again we will be sure to be staying with you,

There were no plates or cutlery, we had our own food but couldnt eat it.

Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room we had was very spacious with a great view from the bedroom window of Dunnet Head and Orkney beyond that. The bed was really comfortable and we were glad to have booked to stay two nights. Really appreciate the fresh milk in the fridge for teas and coffees. Breakfast was a proper Scottish home cooked meal with toast and croissants as well as cereals, yoghurt and fruit. As an added treat we got to feed the owners' Highland Cows with the leftover toast afterwards. We learnt a lot about the cows and got to groom one of them too - great fun.
