Hillcrest Whitby

The breakfast was excellent, very good selection of things to have. They even gave two pieces of fruit every morning to have during the day. The location was superb as it was 5 minutes walk to the town.

The size of the room was a little small but that is understandable as we were late in booking.

Great location. Very helpful and friendly host. Room was lovely. Breakfast delivered to your room and a great choice offered. Asked to leave bags prior to check in and very kindly said we could check in earlier as the room had been unoccupied the night before. Thank you so much. Hope to return again soon.

Very clean and well located. Parking included. Large comfortable room.

The owners went out of their way to assist us and to make us feel very welcome. Breakfast supplied to our room was very well prepared and a good tasty meal.

Loved the breakfast! Even made it earlier for us as we were leaving early. Couldn't fault it at all! Owners were absolutely lovely too!

Never stayed in a guest house only hotels so a 1st for us.The room was very spacious and clean. Everything we needed and some. Loved the breakfast brought to the room and a good choice to select from on the order sheet and having a propper table and chairs to eat. 10 minute walk to the main town so good location. Met the owners, cant do enough for you , lovely and friendly 😊

The only thing I could fault was the pillows, just too flat, I did mention on leaving and they are just about to start a 2 week maintenance/decorate ect so they are replacing them. But it is a personal preference thing not a major issue. Been next to the front door you heard everyone coming in/out but again to be expected in a guest house.
