"Perfect 10/10"

Perfect location for Islay ferry. The guys were perfect hosts, friendly & helpful. The Moorings 10/10 spotless, comfy beds and great view. Fantastic value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend.

"Great place from which to explore the Mull of Kintyre."

Travelled with our adult son on a golf trip taking in courses on Arran, Islay and Kintyre. Location was perfect for connections to the ferry services and views from the Kintyre peninsula were stunning. Andrew, our host, was friendly and helpful.

"Lovely welcome , lovely comfortable stay in a place which was impeccably maintained"

It was such a lovely place . I have a lot of pain from arthritis and have not had a more comfortable sleep in years. Fabulous bed and cosy , comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean . Everything perfect including towels fired without conditioner which is my pet hate . Andrew is a wonderful host. The Moorings is full of character , the garden and house lovingly tended and the perfect antidote to a premier inn. The place is full of warmth and comfort

Andrew ist ein sehr angenehmer und sympathischer Gastgeber, und hat ein wundervolles Frühstück gezaubert. Die Aussicht allein wäre schon den Preis wert. Zur Fähre nur etwa 10 Minuten
