Basic but clean, comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, reasonably priced and the portions were generous! We had a room on the road side of the truckstop but didn't find the traffic noise intrusive. Great location for exploring Cannock Chase and surrounding area.

All the Staff, Bev, Vicky, Charlotte, and all, sorry no good with names, a lovely top girl with Psycho eyes, 👀 😂gave me a proper portion of cottage pie which was delicious 😋..Really can't do enough for ya, Henry on security kept the drinks flowing, met the owner Dave, top bloke👍🏼, nothing to fault.

Nice easy to find was there late so everything closed for the night.

My room looked out on to the A5 road so there was a lot of road noise all night so got a poor sleep.

"Very good value and breakfast was excellent. I’d go back just to eat."

Ideally located for my plans and well priced.

Rooms are small, and I didn’t have a window. That said the room was spotless and warm. The cafe had closed early, but this wasn’t an out for me. Breakfast was available from 6:30 on Sunday morning.

"Very disappointed and would not recommend it"

Friendly staff and location good

Poor state of room. Bed not made and towels not taken away for second night stay and when I arrived no meals were being served and bar was closed
