Museito de Carlos

Everything was so well taken care of and it was clear this was a home made with a lot of love. The bedrooms with private bathroom and air conditioning were very comfortable, the garden of the property super calm en relaxing while only a 5 min walk to the city centre. The owners were the sweetest, very polite and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning in the garden was a treat and they remembered our preferences from the day before. They helped us navigate the city and booked an amazing tour on the lake for us. If you go, make sure you go up the church Merced for the best view over the city (only 1 dollar) and the boat tour we did with Axcel was great!

Museito de Carlos es un lugar tranquilo, con una excelente relación calidad-precio. Los dueños son súper amables y atentos. El desayuno estaba rico y el cuarto es tal cual como se muestra, con una limpieza perfecta. Quedo con ganas de volver a hospedarme ahí.

Het matras lag niet comfortabel. De veren kwamen erdoorheen. Geen warm water in de douche.

The family are so so lovely! Carlos really helped us out. Firstly when we asked about coming back late as we were going to the famous treehouse party and asked whether we could access the property late at night (as this is also his family home), he told us this was no problem and that we can just call him anytime. It really was so kind and we felt very safe and appreciative of this gesture. Secondly my bag broke the day before and I needed to get it repaired in Leon. I asked Carlos where could repair it and he said to leave it with him. The next day I had a repaired bag at a very low cost. I am so grateful for this help! Thank you Carlos and family - we felt very looked after. The breakfast is so nice !! Every day it was something different and delicious.

I had a really good time at Museito de Carlos. Carlos is a wonderful host, he helped me find a shuttle to Ometepe and gave me good tips where to go. The location is good, just between the lake and the center so I enjoyed both - within few min walk. I would definitely come again
