The staff is very helpful. I have a big suitcase, and he helped me to carry it to my room on the second floor. The location is strategic and the price is fair.

The wifi is really bad, not only in the room but also in the lobby area. If you want to work from the hotel, it would be very difficult.

I chose to stay at Ameera because it was close (within walking distance) of places I wished to go on Jl Raya Casablanca (2.2 km only). Also because of the low cost. So, when reviewing, I bear in mind that for Rp. 160.000 per night Ameera was very good value. Yes, simple, but adequate, as we didn't spend much time in the room, just to sleep. We were well looked-after by Lili, very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the location nearby to a lot of food stalls. Thankfully, very quiet, too.

No hot water but none was promised either, and not a problem for us. No breakfast available (although advertised as available for Rp. 25,000), but that didn't matter as nearby food stalls opened at 7 am, and closed quite late at night. As I said, can't expect the Oakwood for Rp. 160.000 per night. For the price, it was a good place to use as a base.

The staff, mas Lily was great and the room was clean and comfortable bed. I would recommend this hotel to stay when you are in Jakarta. Thank you mas Lily

-Toilet smelled pretty badly -Shower was leaking (fixed after asking) -Sink was leaking (fixed but was leaking again later) -Refused to provide toilet paper - Had to buy myself -No handwash/soap near the sink - Had to buy myself (only body wash available in the shower)
