Excellent host and fabulous breakfast

The room and bathroom was a little tired looking at certain parts.

The property was in a a very pleasant situation it was handy to Dargaville township.

It needed a spruce up.

Breakfast was yummy which consisted of bacon,eggs,baked beans, toast and other breakfast items had muesli cereal and fruit salad already on the table for you to eat. Absolutely loved the bed, its perfect for families who are planning to go out and explore the far north areas. The owners are awesome, great hospitality and probably the best ive had since traveling around New Zealand 🙂

If the bathroom was upgraded including water pressure, i can assure you there will be more bookings 🙂 the potholes weren't much of a problem but could do with fixing as well to add the extra touch of comfort.

Close to Kaitaia's local amenities. Bed was quite comfortable. Ceiling fan was good. Shower was nice. Off street parking.

No toaster, rusty bathroom cabinet. Too small. Would have preferred a dining table and chairs which was offered at other local B & B's for the same price. Photos were deceiving as they suggested more than what was offered. Floodlight flicked on & off overnight when other visitors arrived and parked out the front of our unit. Lack of privacy. The breakfast offered was plentiful. Alistair, the host, was preaching his Jehovahs Witnesses religion upon leaving. We felt that was inappropriate.
