Aivilo Home

Aivilo Home is a quiet paradise in Entebbe. The home is surrounded by a beautiful garden with large trees (mango, avocado and another one). In the morning, we saw monkeys playing on the trees and chasing one another. Olivia, the owner, was a delight. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt immediately at home. She was kind, empathetic and hospitable. She prepared VERY delicious dinner for us (everything was so fresh and very good), and the breakfast - all super good. The rooms were decent size - one room with two twin beds, another room with a queen bed, and each room came with a well equipped bathroom and hot water. The wifi worked well. The common spaces were great - the living room downstairs along with the patio in the garden. We spent quite a lot of time there --- there were boardgames to play, and nice chairs to enjoy the views of the garden. Overall, we recommend Aivilo Home with enthusiasm. What a wonderful place!!!

In our first stay there was no power in neighbour so no hot water, facility seems to have generator but it wasn’t running for some reason. In our second stay there was power but water wasn’t hot enough.

Everything!!! Wonderful hospitality, warm and cozy atmosphere, clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Highly recommended!!

Olivia and her team felt like instant family! The place is amazing, the food is amazing, and most of all the people are amazing. I see why people come for a few nights then extend their stay!!!

I didn't like that I had to leave, I just wanted to stay!!!!

It was really nicely decorated, traditional and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything worked. The gardens are lush and beautiful. Olivia is lovely, quite an inspiration really. She’s achieved tradition, coziness and international comfort all at the same time. I paid for an airport transfer and she was there personally waiting for me. It was just a lovely experience.
