"Beckside Guest House"

Perfect location, very close to the town and perfect for early morning photography at Friars Crag, Derwentwater lake and Castlerigg Stone Circle. Hosts were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic. Could not fault this guest house.

Amazing breakfast, great way to start the day after a comfortable nights sleep. You can see the hosts have gone to a lot of effort to ensure you enjoy your stay. From the marshmallows in a cute jar to add to you hot chocolate in your room.... yes there is coffee and tea too along with a biscuit :) The accommodation is clean no dust bunnies found here. Another bonus for me was no pets as I have allergies.

Parking can be tricky but if patient you will find a spot

Liked it was only a few rooms. Exceptional service, spotlessly clean. Very high attention to detail, thought of everything you might need or forget on your stay. 5 star breakfast - perfect hosts. Hope to return soon.
