The welcoming could improve.

The location, overall facilities, staff. The corridor is a good place to lounge.

A bit noisy from the street and the courier service package handling unit on the ground floor. Noise wafts up through the corridor into the rooms. The stairs are smelly probably due to a dog. We love dogs but the place should be maintained.

This was my second stay, so knew the property well. Asked for and got the huge, lovely room no 2. Great location. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Great sit out.

The location is brilliant. The property itself is a heritage building. Three rooms in an Art Gallery have been set aside for stay purposes. The high ceiling rooms are tastefully lit. The large full size bed is appropriate for the size of the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even though the breakfast menu is limited it is made with care. The owner is charming and friendly.

The elevator needs attention. The wooden stairs are creaky. The first floor landing and below needs cleaning and regular attention.

Our room was massive with a large walk in shower en suite. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was massive and extremely comfortable and the balcony sitting area was delightful. The staff were so helpful it was untrue, nothing was too much trouble. At breakfast there was a good array of cerials, fruit ETC, and the hot breakfast was prepared to order and basically bottomless. The location was superb being only a short walk to the Cathederal and the Victoria monument. Also due to the location the street became quiet at night which is quite a bonus!

Not much

The location and the history. Staff were helpful and kind. The property type was historic and I felt safe as it was on the same road as the us consulate and it’s on top of one of the best Italian restaurants in town.
