Beautiful room and very clean. Bottles water, coffee machine etc. lots of nice touches.

Unfortunately the room was extremely hot. The towel rail was large, couldn’t be turned off or down and there was only a cottage window in the bedroom which didn’t provide any through draught to cool the room. The mattress was foam and warm too so neither of us slept well.

Everything about our stay was amazing. From the excellent food, to the friendly and helpful service through the to brilliant annex facilities. Ian was welcoming and helpful before and through our stay. Our dog and children were also welcomed and our family reunion was made so much better for the wonderful hospitality. Couldn't recommend enough!

"Although it was only a single night, very enjoyable. We had a meal on the evening of arrival which was absolutely superb"

The property had character, the room was fine. Lots of history attached to it.The breakfast was first class with good choices.

The shower was slightly in need of upgrading, other than that no problem.
