B&B Domus Dei Cocchieri

Nos ha encantado el alojamiento. Muy buen desayuno y atención. Habitación con dos estancias muy espaciosas. Está en un barrio de Palermo (la Kalsa) con muchas tiendas nuevas, bares interesantes para tomar algo, restaurantes. Nos ha gustado mucho la zona.

El desayuno espectacular (fruta fresca muy variada, croissants recién hechos, jamón, queso, tartas caseras riquísimas, yogures de muchos sabores, café riquísimo…). El alojamiento está ubicado en un sitio muy céntrico, en un barrio muy seguro. La habitación muy limpia.

Por las noches se oía el ruido del restaurante de abajo.

I loved the atmosphere of the common room. It is filled with curios and wonderful art. The breakfast was amazing - so many different fresh fruits and the croissants were gorgeous. The room was spacious. The air conditioning was fabulous given the heat. The shower was really good too.

The place was delightfully decorated. Comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and the lady who prepared it was very kind. She even packed some croissants for us when we checked out early in the morning. Fantastically located in the historic centre of Palermo.

Air-conditioner wasn't very powerful and took a while to cool the room. The area is very central, which is nice but can get a bit noisy during the weekend.

In the very heart of vibrant Palermo you will find an old building with an artistic interior. If you can accept all the discomfort caused by the beating heart of the old town - then the place is excellent choice. The room was spacious and clean with a tiny balcony to admire the living town. There is no mini-fridge in the room, but if you are nice enough, you will be permitted to use one in the kitchen :) Check-in process was easy and well explained via whats-app. Breakfast were really good with always fresh and delicious pastries. It is just steps away from the historical sights of Palermo. Very good restaurant is located just below Domus Dei - so it is quite convenient for late dinners. Nearby bakery provide a nice smell of a fresh bread.

In such places it is rather obvious- but has to be mentioned - it's loud. The restaurant works until midnight but even after closure, there are quite some noises from the street. If you are sensitive to such issues, you need to find a place much further from the old town. On a check-out day you can leave your luggage free of charge but unfortunately only until noon.

The location is very good, in the city center and near all the city attractions! Room was spacious and had good air conditioning. It was decorated is a very unique way which we were positively surprised! Also the crossaints for breakfast were out of this world!

The walls are probably a bit thin so when upstairs neighbours woke up you can here them walking.

It was a bit noisy at night because it’s directly above a busy restaurant. So when they pack up the tables and chairs at night, they are a bit rowdy.

A very clean and beautiful hostel. We booked a private room with a bathroom. The room was spacious and spotless — the best shower I had during my entire trip in Italy. There’s air conditioning and everything you might need. Check-in went perfectly, and they even let us in early, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were very polite and friendly. The value for money is just top-notch. I’d be happy to come back here again.
