Myrtle Cottage B&B

The charming 17th century cottage was most comfortable and conveniently located along the high street, a close drive to many attractions and hikes. Neil and Tyrone treated us like family with no expense spared. Nothing was an issue for them. Everything was immaculate, down to the most minute detail. Breakfast was impeccable - the best (non-greasy) English breakfast I’ve ever had! Pongo even received the most thoughtful doggie welcome basket and his own doggie breakfast of grilled chipolatas. Not to mention an onsite dog bath. Tyrone also shared the best walks with us. It was a pity our stay wasn’t longer, I would’ve loved to go on so many of his suggested walks. The coastal view at Valley of the Rocks was absolutely breathtaking! Thank you so much Neil and Tyrone for the most wonderful stay, I can’t wait to return with all of my family! I know Pongo definitely does. 5 paws from him! 🐾

Helemaal niets

Een verblijf om zeker naar toe te gaan. Zeer gastvrij. Goed ontbijt. Heel behulpzaam. Een erg leuk en gezellig stel.

Geen idee.

Kind friendly hosts who give great attention to detail. Beautiful garden, well equipped and comfortable bedroom, even has a view of the sea. The breakfast was all we could wish for with great service. A 5 star accommodation

Nothing not to like.

Absolutely everything impressed us . We can honestly say this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in with the best of hosts. We will definitely recommend this to friends and family and are already planning our return .

Nothing to dislike

Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt, es war ein Zuhause für die Zeit unseres Aufenthalts. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und heimelig, die Gastgeber aufmerksam, herzlich und und in allen Belangen ansprechbar. Wir haben das Frühstück sehr genossen und uns besonders über den leckeren Kaffee und das ausgezeichnete Rührei gefreut. Wenn wir dürfen, kommen wir wieder.

Had the most amazing stay at Myrtle Cottage. Cannot praise enough what a wonderful couple run this cottage. Made to feel so welcome and so friendly. Brilliant time we had and will return definately when I next have a holiday. Cannot recommend this cottage enough. Breakfast was brilliant as well.
