Casa Mocho Branco

Everything about our stay was top notch. From check-in to a reluctant departure every aspect of our stay was outstanding. Dik is such a terrific host - warm, jovial and informative. Dik and Brandina have created a unique haven in which they've invested a lot of energy, care and professional knowledge. You feel privileged to be allowed to share their wonderful space. Breakfast was a highlight on their lovely outdoor terrace and we met some fun, interesting people as well. On their gate they have a plaque with a 9.8 rating from booking.com - I don't know where the other 0.2 went to!

Property is fantastic - very spacious and immaculately kept. Outside garden area is beautiful with far reaching views to the coast. The pool is stunning with plenty of seating and shade. Our hosts could not have been more friendly or accommodating - all the staff were lovely.

Dik could not have been more friendly or welcoming. The home is beautiful, and the view is incredible. Our room was clean and comfortable and luxurious. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool is wonderful and the grounds pristine.

Some may find driving in the Algarve region and the hills where the property is located. It is honestly fine though once acclimated. The property itself is too wonderful to be worried about driving in the hills.

Casa Mocho Branco is a truly exceptional B&B owned and run by Dik and his wife Brandina. From the moment we arrived the experience was unbelievable. Our room was immaculate with a spotless en-suite. Breakfast is served by a lovely lady called Clarice who is so helpful. The table is beautifully laid with lovely crockery. There are individual bowls of chopped fruit, greek yoghurt, a basket of delicious rolls, croissants etc and all jams are home made and beautifully served, none of your small packets of jam etc. Also eggs if you would like. There are 2 tables on the balcony and a table inside the dining room, the doors are open and the view is breathtaking. Moving outside to the pool area, there are plenty of very comfortable loungers. The pool was lovely and warm, outside towels are provided too, There is plenty of room on the pool terrace to sit apart from other guests if you prefer. It's incredibly quiet, low music playing outside which is perfect. There is an outdoor eating area, a fridge containing beers, cider, wine, soft drinks which Dik operates on an honesty basis, you just tell him what you have had when you checkout. He was really helpful with restaurant recommendations. It's important to remember that you do need transport to get anywhere. If you aren't hiring a car then ubers are very reasonable. We hadn't booked to stay here originally but we weren't happy with an apartment we had booked elsewhere so decided to cut our losses and move on. I cannot tell you how glad I am that we did.

Absolutely nothing!

Everything was incredible, from check in to check out. Dik and his wife were so accommodating from the moment me and my partner arrived. We stayed in the superior double room, the bed was so large and so comfortable and the bathroom was also everything we needed. The room features a private entrance and terrace leading to the front entrance of the garden, and the rear which is home to the incredible infinity pool and beautiful garden. Infinity pools are my thing, and was primarily what I was looking for on this trip (a relaxing garden with a beautiful pool) and after all the research I did, I genuinely believe that this was the best and most beautiful opinion in the whole of the algarve, especially for my budget. Although the accommodation is shared with a couple of other guests, for the most it felt like we had the garden area to ourselves. Breakfast was perfect each morning and we felt right at home. We will definitely be returning to Casa Mocho on our next trip to Portugal. Thank you so much!

We thought that the staff were all lovely and made us feel very welcome, the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, everything was nice and clean, the pool was great and the breakfast was really nice!! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the only thing we had a /slight/ issue with was the TV - the channels were extremely limited and amazon prime wouldn't work for us :(

The accommodation is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Wonderful views and a great pool. Dik and Brandina are friendly hosts who provided us with detailed information on the local area. There is a fridge, BBQ and small kitchen area near the pool that make this property more than a B & B. Honestly bar/drinks in the fridge. Breakfast plentiful!

Nothing!

It was really easy to find Cash Mocho Branco - a short drive from Faro Airport. The Guest House was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The terrace area was private and quiet, and the surrounding gardens tended by Dik were beautiful. Our special thanks to the ladies who prepared breakfast and kept everywhere tidy - they were wonderful and their cooking was perfect

Can't really think of anything - except we would have liked to have stayed longer!
