This place was amazing. It was centrally located in the city, easily walkable and close to lots of good restaurants! it smelled so nice! Linda, the host, was very sweet and brought croissants each morning. the place was also well stocked with snacks, dishes and tourist tips for Matera.

we liked everything. one of the best places we’ve stayed.

"Incredible stay at the most beautiful cave apartment!"

Linda's cave apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated, with original furniture and details that make it feel cozy and relaxed. There are in fact 2 rooms, each with a queen bed (very comfortable), the bathroom is unique and the cave shower is wonderful, with great water pressure. Linda kindly brought us croissants every morning and left tea, coffee, milk and toasts. The kitchen was very well equipped if we wanted to make breakfast at home. We loved our stay at Linda's!!!

The only thing - attached to being a real cave - is there is little natural light and a bit of of a smell of moist, but after 2 minutes in the apartment you stop noticing it.

"Besondere Erfahrung Höhlenunterkunft"

Sehr schöne, toll eingerichtete "Höhlenunterunterkunft" im Zentrum von Matera. Es war ein Erlebnis, dort zu übernachten. Tipp: da man nicht direkt vor der Unterkunft parken kann, am besten nur mit kleinem Gepäck zur Unterkunft anreisen (und die Koffer im Auto lassen), da es sonst in den Stufen und unebenen Wegen von Matera schnell anstrengend mit großen Koffern wird.
