Vila Chess

The hosts were very understanding. The restaurant next door served me an amazing wild game dish (I used my Russian to ask for meat, and I lucked out and got something amazing). The hosts helped me getting taxis (you will get ripped off using the regular "taxi mafia"). The bed was comfortable. The room did not have cigarette smoke smell (but the hallway & lounge did).

The back door of the train station is really difficult to find (you have to go under the tracks), and the street up to the place is a bit uphill (which makes carrying a lot of bags up there very difficult, requiring a taxi, although the hosts would not have minded doing themselves but for their car not working). The room's bathroom was quite small. The hot water was very hot, so be careful! The hosts mentioned that they plan to put up a proper hotel where the restaurant is, so this will be better in the future. The general area is nowhere near as developed as one would expect with a name like "central station", but in the future, this should be better.

era un posto tranquilli

che per il prezzo sono stato aggirato. per me l'ho trovato in internet a 30 euro a notte ma alla fine, non so come era possibile, ha costato quasi il doppio, più di un quattro stelle el centro di Belgrado. Non avevo guardato la conferma del prezzo che poi era di 162,45€, compreso tasse e tassa di soggiorno. Una follia per questo periodo in una zona così fuori mano. Gli asciugamano erano due, uno grande solo 30x20 cm, l'altro uno semplice asciugamani, piccolo anche quello. Del resto: non mi ha nemmeno chiesto i mie documenti e dovevo pagare in contanti, non con carta? Tutto normale? per me c'è un imbroglio. Se siete seri, mi date i 70€ di ritorno che ho pagato in più.

Very convenient location for the main train station, there is a shortcut directly to it. Peaceful area, with a grocery shop round the corner. Good aircon in the room, very much needed in the hot summer weather. Very friendly staff. Access to the kitchen with all the essentials, including a kettle and tea.

The place is a little hidden away and not that easy to find. Payment in cash only.

De eigenaren wagen super aardig en behulpzaam.

Camera pulita e ampia ( la nostra ) ma priva di qualsiasi servizio tipo bollitore o altro . Bagno con zona wc e doccia molto stretto e da rivedere sicuramente. Dovrebbe essere un B&B ma non c’è la colazione e per dove è posizionato non è possibile neanche farla all esterno. Struttura fuori mano per raggiungere il centro e difficile da raggiungere anche con il tram !
