The owner was amazing and very helpful. When we arrived, he picked us up at the train station and drove us to the accommodation. He also recommended to us what to see and where to eat. Truly great host. Moreover, the room was perfectly clean and cosy. Plus the location is good, just a few minutes to the centre of Ragusa Superiore. Ragusa Ibla is ca. 2 km away, but it is a nice walk. There is also a direct bus from Ragusa Ibla to a square nearby the accommodation.

I really do not have anything to criticise.

Very clean room, excellent service and quality-price, but the most important of all, the owner of the place was one of the most kind and helpful people I’ve ever met. He was there to help us even when we left the room, and he gave us the best recommendations about the city and Sicily in general

The host, Salvo, was wonderful! He was an immense help when I learned there was a planned train strike on the day we were returning to Catania. He reassured me immediately that there were options and he would help me so I could relax. The apartment is in a great location near train station, super market, great pastries at Cafe Siclia and pizza at Magna Magna. Salvo got us in to a local restaurant, La Taverna Del Lupo, for lunch even though it was almost past their serving time. The size and amenities of the apartment were very good. The bed was very comfortable. So many things I appreciated about the room like screens on the windows so we could keep them open, Salvo gave us a map of the city, and the car Salvo helped me hire for our return trip was excellent.

The property was lovely, very comfortable bed, great sized bathroom, fridge facilities, great view in the morning of the sunrise over the bridge from the balcony. We especially enjoyed the hospitality provided by our host Salvo. He was so, so helpful. Gave us great tips for lunch and dinner, answered us quickly and even picked us up from the bus station. We were not expecting this level of service it was amazing and I wish we could have stayed longer in Ragusa.

Salvo was truly the best and kindest host I have ever encountered! I was in a super stressful situation where my flight was rerouted, and I found myself scrambling on a bus to Ragusa last minute with 5% phone battery, trying to find accommodations for a midnight arrival, and a taxi to the airport at 5am. I had little hope that I’d make my flight and worst case I would have had to spend the night on the street. I really don’t know what would have happened without his help. After I booked the room and messaged him around 10:30pm, he arranged to have his wonderful neighbor pick me up from the bus terminal at midnight (I knew my phone would be dead at that point and I’d have no way to find the hotel). He also put so much effort into finding me a taxi driver who would take me to the airport so early. I am so thankful that he was able to accommodate the late checkin, getting to the hotel and the taxi. He truly went above and beyond. In addition the apartment itself was gorgeous. The bed was amazing, the air con and shower were great. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches of the breakfast items and juice/water, in addition to the soap and shampoo. The value for the price was so high. His communication was also flawless. I absolutely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I came back to Ragusa. I really cannot say enough good things about my experience.

Excellent accommodation with view over the valley between parts of Ragusa and within walking distance of railway station and the old town. Host could not have been more helpful. Small apartment was very comfortable with cooking facilities and basic breakfast food left for guests. Very good value.

This was the best experience of our trip. We stayed in eight locations and were best impressed with our stay here. The owner, Salvo, really did go above and beyond expectations giving us early access and meeting us of our train despite our indication that we were happy to walk to his apartment. He also insisted that he gave us a lift to the bus station for our onward journey. Wonderful hospitality was a feature of our trip around Sicily but Salvo took things to a different level. He really does go the extra mile to ensure that his guests are made to feel welcome and that they have the best possible experience. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean with an excellent array of breakfast foods. A short walk over an old bridge took us to the heart of town with many restaurants close to the wonderful cathedral. The old town of Ragusa Ibla is an amazing place to explore. The steep descent and seemingly steeper return is unmissable (bus service is available). We enjoyed the steps so much that we did the climb twice. Great views over a deep valley enhance the experience of the room. Cannot recommend too highly, largely because of the exceptional service from Salvo.

My only real problem was that I had only booked two nights.
