Casa Caterina by Irundo

Good location, fantastic host, we used the bikes to reach the beach. Rovinj is a lovely and fantastic city, we love it!

Quiet, clean. For few days it’s okay.

The check-in time should be much more flexible. There is no option for breakfast, even if their booking page shows that.

Clean, well equipped, relaxing balcony. Great location.

Not enough privacy. The door to the hallway had clear gaps where light passed and sound echoed through. A well fitted door and rubber sealing should suffice. I woke up in the middle of the night when another guest arrived. Also, the services description included luggage storage, which it was then denied at check-out time, which made us do an extra trip to the center to leave them, countering the nice closseness to the beach.

The location was okay. 15 minutes walk to the beach and old town. Free parking

The quality of the room is very basic. The bathroom has not been modernized since Yugoslavia, the mattress was not comfortable, no one changes bedding or towels, no breakfast or facilities to prepare your own breakfast. Door to the corridor is super thin. There is only contact with WhatsApp and no one in the building. How they have over 9 points on booking.com is a mystery to me.

The location was 11minutes easy walk to the old town yet in a quiet peaceful setting. The balcony was a bonus.

It would have been useful to have plates, cutlery and shared facilities for preparing basic meals.

Exactly as shown in the pictures. Simple, but clean accommodation with great location. We had everything we needed and the interaction with the host was very smooth and pleasant. We would definitely stay at Casa Caterina next time in Rovinji. Love the balcony!!
