Great Position. Thoughtfully furnished. Very well equipped.

Excellent provision of cold breakfast foods - no readily available cooking ability/stove, but microwave and toaster were sufficient. The multi-level outdoor jacuzzi and garden with seating and views was a bonus, as was the view of the ocean tides below. The owner provided all amenities to be found in the finest hotels - first class - and the garden was adorned with many tasteful ornaments.

Nothing can be done about the siting of the home - on top of very steep driveways with no alternative due to the steep hillside, but calls for great care in ascending.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous location with exceptional views. They had great high-speed internet as well. We loved staying here. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Tairua is a lovely village, and Paku Palms is the perfect place to stay.

Our one disappointment was the hot tub was not working.

Unfortunately, the hot tub had issues the second day. Nothing to do with Paku Palms but a mini tornado during the night slammed the top deck furniture everywhere and shattered the glass panel in the balustrade..
