B&B Vietri Centro

Really enjoyed the location, enjoyed the facilities and the building itself was great.

No lift so had to carry our big bag up the stairs which was ok as we could manage.

The apartments are located in the middle of Vietri town, walking distance from the lovely Crestarella beach and the harbour where you can catch ferries and private hire trips to Capri, Amalfi, Positano etc., and the train station where you can go to Pompei and Naples. The apartments are beautiful, and breakfast is at the Bar Miramare in the square. It couldn't be more central, and we awoke from our siesta on day one to a live brass band in the street, the best we'd ever heard! Vietri is an ideal base for exploring the Amalfi coast, as it is the first town really after Salerno. But you're not paying over the odds for shopping and meals like you would in, say, Positano. But here's the thing. Fausto, the host, can fix up EVERYTHING or you if you ask. He has people he works with for booking trips, guides etc. SO HANDY, especially when your grasp of Italian was as elementary as ours (we had all summer and still!). I cannot recommend Vietri B&B enough.
