Great location, friendly staff, good value for money

Our room was clean with a lovely view but had exposed/ missing plaster on walls and a light fitting missing.

Central location in Whitby.

The place has gone downhill. Our room looked shabby and nothing like the pictures in booking.com. It seems that they ran out of steam half way through painting the room. Furnishing very basic. WiFi did not work. We had a reservation for dinner but were informed that the pub had stopped serving food

The room was comfy and the food was delicious the staff were lovely and helpful we have booked for another amazing stay thank you.

We loved every minute of our stay

Nice room, very nice bathroom. We were in room 5 so had a nice view over bay. Breakfast was very good ,plenty of choice. The price we paid for 2 nights was very good value.

They is quite a lot of stairs but it is an old building. But not really suitable for anyone bad on their feet.

Like most places in Whitby it has a windy staircase but with care you are ok

The location is brilliant right on the front over looking the harbour. We had a twin room with large single beds with were really comfortable and the pillows were nice and soft. The room had everything you needed for a stay . Breakfast "Wow" i had full English and my wife had the Veggie Breakfast and we both said there was too much . The bar area was busy on the Friday evening due to a band playing but still a good quick service. We didn't eat in the bar but lots of people were and the food looked good. We will definitely stop here again.
