Very warm and kind welcome from the hosts (Rachel and Jon) who made a point of being there to welcome us on arrival help us to settle in. The room was spacious, flawlessly appointed and very comfortable. Would definitely return.

Hele fijne locatie, ruime schone kamer. Fijne woonkamer beneden met koffie en thee faciliteiten.

Kamer was erg licht (gordijnen verduisteren niet) en erg warm (het was een hele zonnige dag geweest).

This hotel is truly a modern 21st Century establishment insomuch that Rachel and her partner Jon, the Owners contacted me by text and then WhatsApp explaining how to gain access through the front door via a keypad (they even sent a short video clip to show how it id done). Once inside the hotel, we found the room key together with an attached electronic door fob was in the door lock to our room. After we'd dropped our bags off, scratched off the date and day on the included parking card, we put the card on the dash board of my car and scooted off to the nearby seafront for a reunion with our school chum. On our return we just offered up the fob to the keypad which opened the front door and went up to our room. The whole hotel is spotless and well appointed. if you don't want to go out for breakfast in the morning, then no problem; in the ground floor lounge there were croissants, pain au chocolat, cereals and filtered coffee. Although we never met the owners, they were really helpful communicating via multimedia and came across as lovely folk. Paid the bill online too.

Frankly we couldn't fault the hotel and wouldn't hesitate to re-book

This was the 2nd time I have stayed at The Albany Rooms and everything was again just as described. Clean, quiet, easy to find, easy to park, convenient for the local area. There is no breakfast provided in-house, but there is a plenty supply of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. I would definitely book again.

I hadn't appreciated that my room did not have a shower or bath, though this is my fault for not reading the details thoroughly. It didn't matter too much as I was only there for one night.
