Crowndale Torquay - Exclusively for Adults

Lovely little hotel, good breakfast, good amenities, the owners can't do enough for you, we had tyre blow out on the way to the hotel, I called the owners to let know we would be later than we said and what had happened, he suggested the recovery people drop us at kwick fit near the hotel, John the owner met us there and drove us and our luggage to the hotel and offered to drive us back when our tyre had been replaced, now that's the real meaning of customer service. Thank you, John and Pat, for making our stay enjoyable.

We have found a real gem, John and Pat are such lovely hosts, Beautiful homely and decorated room, Fantastic breakfast every morning, fresh milk and water replenished daily in the fridge, excellent tea/ coffee making facilities, delicious cup cakes. Lovely huge white fluffy towels. I could go on and on! Such a fantastic place to stay, couldn’t have wished for anything better, Thank you so much for your hospitality and making our stay just perfect.

Very welcoming friendly and helpful hosts. Left us 2 muffins on arrival which was very thoughtful. There is also fresh milk daily which makes all the difference to a making a nice cuppa. Whole place was immaculate. Good breakfast and location

Room and bathroom a bit on the small side.

A lovely establishment a clean huge room with an enormous bed with complimentary milk and cold water. The wet room was spacious and very clean with soft fluffy towels. The hosts Pat and John were friendly and helpful and always checking in to make your stay comfortable. Crowndale is an easy walk to the sea front and Torre Abbey which is a bonus.

Pat and John were excellent hosts and could not do anything more to make us feel more at home. The food was excellent and the room was spotless and the hospitality was second to none. Location was fine and they were a pleasure to talk to.

Warm hospitality from Pat & John – they were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the stay enjoyable. Clean and comfortable accommodation – the room was spotless, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing adult-only retreat. Quiet atmosphere – ideal for unwinding, with no disturbances and a calm environment throughout. Great location – close enough to explore Torquay’s attractions but tucked away for peace and privacy. Delicious breakfast – freshly prepared and served with care, a lovely start to each day.
